As to getting in your own way... yea: same.  But I really like the idea of treating those thoughts like toddlers.  That's one way I helped my sleep problems.  I recognized that my own behaviors at 2am were exactly like those of my friends' 5 year olds pas t their bedtimes.  But I've never though to apply that characterization to the larger, more pervasive shit impulses.  I think I'll give it a try.  Thank you!

Obviously (I hope) I've got nothing but support for people trying to make it in the very competitive markets of sex services.  Many such workers are really creative and industrious.  But I've also been struck again and again by how even if you're incredibly industrious - on your grind day and night - you can still be lazy as all fuck.  Sounds like this girl is one of those: totally willing to grind, but utterly unwilling to devote the least attention to it.  Unaware that connection is a personal product, not a mass market widget you can just mindlessly crank out.

I thought it was deeply flawed, but also a lot of fun and genuinely enjoyable.  Either of the stars are good enough to carry any damn thing they're in.  I wish they had either leaned harder into spoofing RomComs or bothered to make that part less cringily unrealistic.  Either they didn't know that they were satirizing or they wanted to have it both ways and play it it straight "enough".

Also, as DC residents the three of us watching all had the same reaction that follows anyone watching most movies set in their home town that's not NY or LA: appalled laughter.  For example, the closest country we could even kind of match that landscape would be around Poolesville, which is OK since the vanity farms there are about as realistic as the one depicted, but it's at least an hour's drive, yada yada.  That's not really a gripe, though, as movies do that stuff all time.

Like the asshole commenter I prefer less voluptuous women, whether they be athletic or just slender - but it'd never cross my mind to post this kind of shit.  This guy has got to know that there are billion guys who want their faces smothered by a juicyphat booty.  And the thin chicks can't get away from this shit either - easy to find comments urging them to eat something or calling them boys for not having a stacked rack.  Opinions really are like assholes: everybody's got their own, and you should only share yours with people you know are interested in it.
