I'm in the phase of my depressive cycle where I'm angry all the time and I hate everyone and everything. Thankfully, soon enough that will fade and all my anger will be directed inward (as it should be). I've ridden this cycle enough times to know how it will go; not how long it will stay, unfortunately, but you can't know everything LOL

🍀 I have found stoicism & Dokkodo to be very helpful in managing my inner Hulk! Your feelings are choices: You choose anger over calm; you choose fear over courage; you choose misery over joy. Which choice is more productive? Which punishes the chooser and which punishes the circumstance? Remember, circumstances do not change as a result of how angry you get at them. Because circumstances are not people. It’s like that saying about taking poison and expecting the other person to die.
