So when I lived with my parents I was told no woman would want to date me. Now, my son, nephew, their friend and I all rent a house, but I was now told "no woman wants to date a guy living with family". When I brought up that this person lives with roommates, I was told that's different. So a woman won't care if you live with strangers, but does care if you live with family that you've known for years...🤔
And, hearing of my financial difficulties, this same person told me that maybe I should work on my finances for a few years, as no woman would want to date a man who couldn't "take care of her". And yes, I have met plenty of women over the years here who are obsessed with money and status, but that "advice" sounds very bleak and cold. But then again, WTF do I know? /endrant

What kind of advice is that? There next one will be "No woman would want to date a man who ... breathes. You should try holding your breath." The wonderful thing about attraction is that it is as wild and varied as people are.
