Learned my lesson

A couple people at work who I'm close to asked me what's wrong, and I gave them the standard response (I'm just tired) cuz I have learned telling most people what's really wrong either scares them off (i.e. when I say we're gonna reach the tipping point this year where the planet gets too hot to support human life on it and they wanna talk about how everyone is crying cuz Trans people drink their shitty beer FFS) or they offer stupid platitudes (i.e. when I say none of us can afford to survive here in the States and they ask if I've tried yoga, meditating or smoking pot to relax).
It's better to just keep shit to myself cuz talking about it doesn't change a goddamn thing, so why bother?
