A few people recently have expressed doubts when I say there are no available women my age in Vegas (even though said people haven't been single and/or on dating sites in years if ever), so let's break down availability and compatibility (which go hand-in-hand).
She can't be:
1. A hard-core Christian and/or Republican (honestly, any zealous religion/cult, but this eliminates half the women in Vegas lol)
2. An extreme outdoors and/or sports nut
3. Polyamorous or in an open relationship (not telling others what they can do, but I refuse to be one of a few or many)
4. A smoker (don't care about pot, but my youngest and I both have asthma)
5. Heavily into drinking (a few every now and then is fine, but if you have to get drunk every week at least once that says there is pain in your life that you're trying to cover up)
6. Want kids (very few women at this age who haven't had kids want kids, but since I'm fixed that's a no-go from me lol)
7. Expect the man to pay her bills (I can barely afford my own bills, I'm not taking on anyone else's!)
8. Be unattractive to me (not saying I'm a catch at all, but if you don't find your partner attractive it's not likely to progress beyond friendship, and yes even at this age looks do matter)
9. Want to relocate ASAP (my kids and family are here, and the dry heat helps my joints feel better)
10. Allergic to/hate dogs (hard pass on that!)
You take all that into consideration, and that leaves no available women here in the Vegas/NLV/Henderson area. The math doesn't lie.

And that's not even mentioning the positives that you definitely do want: some sense of humor, some sense of humanity, some sense of intelligence, etc.
