My last journal entry was sad--I was cancelling my account because I didn't have enough money to eat and pay rent. Today was the phone call I have been waiting for, I got a job!!!! I can't believe how hard it was for me to get a job in smalltown Ohio...with the experience I have...geez, it should have been a cakewalk....but the economy is shit...someone got shot just down the road the other day. Lovely 
But!!!!!! I got a job! I didn't want to go back into the service industry (bartending, food server, cocktail waitress etc., ) so I have been hunting a retail job, which I don't have the much experience in, but I have tons in customer service through waitressing, cocktailing etc. I went to all the lame mall stores, a few local shops, record stores etc. But not that many were hiring or appealed to me. Then it occured to me...I shop at least once a week at the goodwill on campus...it is super cool and they don't have community service workers etc. (it's just regular employees--in a college town---it's so rad) sooo, I applied, had like 3 interviews...and got it!!!!! I'm so excited--I hope people call me "that cute girl from the thrift store," that would makeme blush! Yay!
