The seashell bits he'd had in his hand fell haphazardly and quick, a few shards bouncing off her dress as it blew in the warm, but quickly chilling wind. Most of the seashells now lay strewn around her sandy bare feet. She knew her first step from the position she was in would have to be a large one to avoid being cut. She stood perfectly still with the dark waves crashing behind her, a cold hand on her neck, and seashells between her dirty toes.."
