There has been a lot on my mind lately some of its good. Some of its bad. Some of its fucking great!

Work is going well (both jobs)
The company I work for during the day is doing well. Were growing fast and the future is exciting.
The tattoo shop is great. I work with some amazing people, artists whom I have a tremendous amount of respect for. Ive always loved tattoos. The history, the art, everything. To be paid to be in that environment is a great thing.

Ive been watching my beautiful son quickly turn into a man. I cant really describe what its like. Its wonderful, scary, stressful, exciting All I can say is, if I wasnt his father, Id still be proud to be his friend.

I miss my wife terribly. Were finally only about 3 weeks away from her moving down here and into our home. Its the light at the end of a very long, hard-traveled tunnel.

I also miss Cuba. I have been in love with that amazing country since I was in high school. Ive been lucky enough to travel there many times and spend a lot of time there.
I cant explain why Im so drawn to it, but when Im away I feel like a tiny part of my heart is missing.
My dream is to bring my beautiful wife there and share it with her. I want to show her Hemingways home. I want to take her to La Bodeguita Del Medio for mojitos. I want to sit on a bench with her in Parque Central and watch her photograph the amazing old cars as they drive by and then walk to the El Floridita for daiquiris. What could possibly be better than sharing my favorite place in this world with the love of my life?
Hopefully Ill realize this dream soon.

Ive also finally, after 32 years, realized what I want to do with my life (career wise). I am very excited and Im currently writing up a 2-year plan to make it happen.
