another good weekend.....

Friday:

Got to hang out w/ an old friend I hadn't seen in a while.
I also got to hang out w/ perfect_equation who was making potato salad for a picnic.

Saturday:

Saturday was great. Myself, my son, and dmuff headed up to Simi Valley to see my beautiful girlfriend DJbecky.

I finally met her amazing daughters, and we got along great I really adore the hell out of them.

The rest of the night was spent hanging out with Beckys great friends, and my dear friend.... single malt scotch

It was a great night. The only bad part of the evening was having to leave

Yup.. life is good. I may still be having trouble getting used to the whole "happiness" thing, but it's a great problem to have


Now I'm off to read a good book and relax.

I won't be making it to Prom this year. As much as I'd love to see everyone, it's a special weekend for someone in my family... and family always comes first.

** Update... to make my weekend even better, DJbecky and her girls came down to visit me Sunday.
