Today I went down to Del Mar for a tattoo convention with a few of my friends: dmuff, Luci, and louie_the_Zebra.
The convention was ok, but nothing special. Basically the B-teams that the tattoo shops had to offer. Some good pics were taken, but louie_the_Zebra took them, so you'll have to check out his journal.

This is what my beautiful and dorky friend Luci looks like when she's walking behind me.... (that's right, this is an action shot bitches!)
Since Luci wanted to get tattooed, and the convention wasn't great.. we went looking for a tattoo shop.
First we went to a well known San Diego shop ( I won't name names ) to find they had the most inflated prices we've ever seen....
Then we went across the street to another shop where the tattoo artist (read: scratcher) was a complete asshole. I came way too close to losing my temper with him when he was rude to Luci
Then we found another shop, with a cool artist
It turned out to be the same shop my gorgeous friend Beretta works at.... as we found out when she walked in

Beretta was kind enough to introduce me to her friend alessa. If you've only seen her on the site, you're missing out. Much like Luci and Beretta... she is far more beautiful in person.
After Luci's tattoos, we went to Jack in the Box to eat... (yes, I know I gave up fast food... but I was starving
)
This was the classiest fast food joint I've ever seen... they even had a damn fireplace
Luci bought us all dinner and...... DRAGONS
At first, dmuff and i didn't know what to think of this
Then we realized how fun they are.
Dragons like soda
They love curly fries
And they like to attack Luci
Sometimes they even make-out
There is one little known fact about dragons though....
On occasion, they have been known to make people really, really gay.

Glad to hear that you had a fun time with Dmuff and your other friends. Take care, and know that your assailant was suffering from a shortcoming in his past. Being a big fella myself, I can't tell you how many times nitwits have stepped up without cause. Later, buddy!
