I haven't played music in two weeks. So I'll probably be quite rusty tonight. I'd like to write some new material. It's always a fun process of pulling out my hair.
It's an amazing thing to sit down with a guitar and create something but it's also painful. Every time I come up with something new I go from liking it to hating it, then liking it again. Then there's the time spent wondering what people will say it sounds like even though I've never heard the song they swear I ripped off.
Yet for all the shit that gets attached to it, sometimes you have something that's fun to play over and over again for hours, until your girlfriend starts yelling at you to turn it down and stop playing the same three chords over and over again. This has been a post full of run on sentences, hasn't it?
I got my new futon all set up yesterday. My room just likes posters and guitar hangers and it will be complete. Now on to decorating the living room.
