My mother has 11 cats, six of them are kittens under the age of 4 weeks.
Of the six, I got to name one-- number 6-- because s/he had a funny shaped head from being the last one out. I named him/her Gizmo-- because s/he is coloured sort of like the gremlin, Gizmo.
My mother calls me today to tell me that one of my stepdad's drunken friends came over and stepped on my Gizmo! S/he looked alright, not all squished or anything, but now, when s/he walks around, sometimes s/he just falls over for no reason, stays there for a few minutes, then gets up and does it again.
It reminds me of my poor fishie, who did the same thing right before he died. And it makes me sad.
