I feel so proud of myself. Tonight I decided to splurge and actually spend money, even though I really don't have enough to splurge...
But that's why I'm proud. Here's the set-up...
My wonderful, incredibly sexy friend Aikaterine and I went to the Border Grill for dinner and we got burritos and quesadillas.
Then we went to this comedy show, called Second City, that was touring from Chicago, and it was amazing. I laughed my ass off, and coined the phrase, "I love you so much I'd let you stick a broomhandle up my ass"
Then we went to a concert and danced around a little bit, and got coffee at EmmaJoe's. EmmaJoe's is a local coffee shop owned by a hippy but it's closing which is sad. Tonight is the last night it's gonna be open... but the owner dude Jason said that they're thinking of reopening it as a CoOp...
Anyway, I asked the owner (who was mixing drinks) to make me something special, and from what I could tell it was macademia nut, nutmeg, chocolate and espresso stirred into steamed milk. It was delicious. And then I got a cinnamon chai, which was also very good.
Guess how much I spent.. No I won't let you guess. I spent less than twenty dollars. I started out with twenty dollars and I have four dollars in my purse.
I'm so proud and I had so much fun and now I'm so dog-gone tired, and I have church in the mo--- er... later today so I should get some sleep.
are y'all proud of me?
