My god how much can changed in a matter of months. This isn't exactly a happy post, as my mother just passed away just over a week ago now. I mentioned in a previous blog how my mother was diagnosed with cancer and she was undergoing her chemotherapy, but unfortunately it stopped working, she also had Radiotherapy but this didn't work aswell as they had hoped.
At the beginning of September, they told my mum that she had around two weeks left and all they could do now was make her as comfortable as possible. She stayed at home and we had all family visiting everyday. My dad, sister and myself were all there when she passed away, she wasn't in any pain or any struggle.
We defiantly made this year count though, we've done loads of stuff as a family, My mum took everyone to Thorpe Park for her birthday, we've had loads of family BBQs, went to Wittering beach 3 times (which is alot, if you know what the weather was like in august), I'm sure she enjoyed this year and all the other years.
Sorry for the depressing post, Heres a couple of pics to lighten the mood (my mum in the blue raincoat).
