shattered

I finally got out of bed at 3pm-ish to realize I was sick.

Suffering through a fever on my 21st birthday. Pretty messed up, and I don't know if it's a bad cold or the flu that's started going around.

Thank you to MR_rick, kiki_michelle, and Charlatan for leaving me happy birthday comments, and to kab2172 for emailing me a happy birthday.

I had a 4-hour phone conversation with a good friend this evening (last night? it's 4-something am) and halfway through the convo started in on a rum and coke, figuring I'm nobody to break tradition. He started making comments about how I was getting really loopy from the alcohol (apparently I've lost a lot of what little tolerance I had), to which I giggled.

I'm meeting a friend for lunch today - it's been a good 2 years since I've been to Pizza Luce. And if I leave the house once in awhile, that big flaming ball in the sky that they call the sun...well, I don't forget that it's a good thing.
