supergp:
You don't HAVE to.......
squishylizards:
Well, glad you don't feel like crap!

So for the first time in a year I have called in sick to work. Which is cool because I don't have to work today but it sucks because I feel like crap.
supergp:
Yes, but you're feeling like crap while watching Buffy and playing video games.

Well this week is crawling by at a snails pace for some reason.

I should have the money put togther by the end of next week to get a new computer for Tizzy. It won't be much but it will be more than what she has.

Not much else to say. Not really anything going on at the moment.

Yours too, huh?

My week's been dreadful slow.
I'm debating taking Monday off, just to have a slightly longer break. Ugh.
coliwali:
I need more week, can I have some of yours?

So I am feeling better. I have been exercising more and it may be my imagination but I think I can feel a difference.

I really ought to write more. I have some ideas that the people around me have said they really liked. I just need to get them out on paper.

Yes....you can spot the undercovers in our country by noting that they dress like college instructors.... wink

For the past few days I have been feeling rather discontented.

There is nothing specific that I am discontent about. It is just a feeling I get every once in a while.

I feel the need for a change but I do not know what to change. Usually a new game or book would settle things out. I don't know I guess I will think...

So the week is over.

Work has been strangely slow. Normally I am on the phone from soon after I start till I get off. This past week I have had almost 10 minutes between calls if not longer.

I've been trying to decide what new to read. I've got no real good ideas.

If you find something good to read let me know. I'm dying to find a decent book right now.

I'm frustrated. I have been working on my taxes and it is looking like I am going to be owing about $600. I find this quite frustrating. Ah well I'll see what comes up when I sit down and really do them.

So we finished the first adventure in the D&D game tonight. The characters have reacted in some very interesting ways.

So I have an idea for the next session. I can't obviously discuss it here but I hope it will be a change of pace from the last game.

I am sad to see the weekend go so fast. I did not get to do...

Demons and greatswords are great fun and all
(and the fun from the guns also ain't small)
But what's the most fun, when we get to the end?
Spending six hours, gaming with friends.
coliwali:
But I found it. That means you.... ewwww

So today I cooked fondue.

This by itself is barely worth mention except it is the first time I have cooked fondue. as I was coming to the end of the cooking an even happened. This event made me understand something. Every time I cook something new I end up wounding myself somehow. I realized this as I was slicing bread cubes and I cut...

Wow, I can't beleive that a fondue related injury is even possible without it involving the pointy litttle sticks.
Dammit, now I want fondue.

Glarp

I had something more eloquent and insightful to say but then I went back to work.

Not much going on. I have been spending most of my spare mental energy coming up with the next story for the D20 modern game. I am thinking of doing an adventure focusing on the back story of one of the characters.

In other news I have been...

So to no one's surprise we did not finish the adventure last night. We did get close and it should be next session. Of course I have said that before.

So at work I have the opertunity to move to an over night shift. The good is that I will be alone there for the most part and there will not be very many calls....

I think we've said "well, this'll be the end of the adventure" every time we've played this campaign. wink

Are you going to take the overnight shift?

[Edited on Mar 07, 2005 6:41PM]
coliwali:
Unless you want to stab out your coworkers eyes, I dont think the nightshift will be worth it, unless it pays like a shit ton more or something.

I am dog sitting for my parents this weekend. Which also means I get to take care of the big screen TV as well. So bonus.

I am running D20 modern this Sunday and I need to put all my notes together for that so that should be some hours of tedium.

I really like running RPGs it is just some of the paper work...

I thought you were born in Topeka.
supergp:
Yeah. We're in sore need of another couple PCs, really. Another fighter and a healer, wouldn't be bad.

Since this online thing's kind of an experiment for us anyway, I was thinking that it might be interesting to try multiple PCs per character. It might work better than it does in tabletop.
