Hmm we went to the same show.

I watched Mankind is Obsolete and Phoenix Nebulin. Then shortly after that I went outside to wait for Porcelin Black to come on and to harass people by trying to bite off boys nipples and weird stuff like that. I ended up never going back in though cause of my hurt knee (and smart me was running around in knee high boots) was acting up and my camera died. I was more interested in taking new pictures that night cause it was my first time taking that camera to a show.

You also missed kadence too. she was there because of Latino in the City (her tv show) was filming there that night.

sounds like a pretty bad ass show. I saw Bauhaus at the House of Blues and it was amazing, it left me speechless.

I have to get the new lkh book. I am surprised its been so long for me to buy or read it. usually I have them read within a short period of them being out.

You're 100% correct on all counts. Jacksonville is strange; it's a big town, big-player on the state scene, but the whole thing dies at 3am. People just go home. Even on the weekends it dies at 3am. Tonight I went to a party at 11:45pm....and it was already dead by the time I got there. What the fuck?!

Decent films in Jacksonville can only be found at the San Marco theater on Fri/Sat nights, and during the film showings at the Florida Theater.

And the intelligent people thing is something I've had to learn the hard way. My little core group of best friends are all highly intelligent, and we like it that way; fuck everybody else. In fact, the people I know here are the only things keeping me here. If not for them, I'd be in Atlanta, D.C., or Canada by now.
