Friend of mine, Laura (some of you met her at Punknight) had to write a paper for her English class on "things not to do on a first date" so I was helping her compile a list of things girls should avoid on first dates. Please feel free to add to the list; or disagree with me.
First date Fauxpas
1.Talk about your ex more than in passing (unless he asks for details)
2.Be unable to form an opinion
3.Gossip
4.Tell long involved stories that reference people you do not know and will probably never meet
5.Complain excessively
6.Cry (forgivable if physical injury is sustained)
7.Mention marriage
8.Mention how your children would look
9.Reveal deep personal issues i.e. abortions youve had, S.T.D.s, abusive family life, bi-polar disorder, etc. *
10.Get puking drunk
11.Fall asleep
12.Hit on other people
13.Feign interest in things he likes that you really hate

This was in no way intended to defer people from discussing need to know information. But in many cases Im not sure I want to share dessert with someone on a first date; much less sleep with them. For a further explanation read here.
