My band is going on hiatus until Sept. Justin goes to France for a month every year. He & his wife own a little shack there. So, I'll have to go into writing mode to stay busy. Working more on writing & solo stuff. Maybe I'll do another solo set. It's a little frustrating, but I should use it as an opportunity to do the things I normally don't have time for.

I just ordered $100 worth of iPod accessories. Boostaroo for trip to Chicago, wireless remote and a dock. I'm using the iPod for my alarm clock now.... It's nice to be working.

I'm going to go for a bike ride, hit the Farmer's mkt, and go by Echo Park to take some photos while the Lotus are still there.

Didn't scare the girl off, just shocked her and read into it too much. She's rad, such a great friend. We're going to a wedding tomorrow.

I can't stop listening to the Bloc Party. It's so rare that something from the "mainstream" machine takes my fancy. The last time that happened was Interpol, but I'm not digging the 2nd album. He's kind of turning into a bitchy rock star.

I just want to tinker around the house, spend time with people I care about, and maybe get outside a litte.

I've been putting in some overtime. About 48 hours a weekd. I'm saving up for a new road bike. I'm 1/3 of the way there. I found a shop in hollywood that carries the one I want. I might ride there today to see if they have a layaway plan. I'm looking forward to getting a new road bike, now that I've got my knee back. I want to do 50 miles a week and get involved with some training rides again. I've been thinking about riding out to Point Magu for overnight camping. I need to travel more. I'm getting back into shape.
