It rained hard last night. I slept with the window open. The sound of the falling drops bathing the city sang me to sleep on a cool breeze.

No word back about the A/V job yet. I'm going to call him today. The Physical Therapy interview went well. She was frighteningly intelligent. I'm not used to being interviewed by such a sharp preson. It was a little intimidating. I won't know until next week, but I don't think I can afford to work part time w/o benefits. It's a shame because it would be a great chance to learn. Maybe I can keep in touch and work something out next year when I'm in a better place to take on that type of work. Too bad, it would be exciting to start a new undertaking.

The Shards have a show Thursday with Joe Baiza & The Leafblowers. Joe is a great guitarist from the old LA punk band, Saccharine Trust. I'm blowing off class to play the show, which means I can't miss any more classes for the rest of the semester. We have a test next week, but I think I"ll be ok if I do my normal studying. We're playing at Mr. T's Bowl which is always interesting. It'll be the maiden rock voyage for the ROCK VAN. I've been playing a lot lately, so it should be a good show. I'll have fun at least.

I'm about to get on my trainer for a half an hour before going to the store. I bought tuning pegs to upgrade my Les Paul Special II
,
but they were the wrong size. I told the guy I thought they were the minis, but he second guessed me. I'm just hoping I can take care of that errand before it starts raining again.

Go Sox!
