Barely survived the weekend. Helped Nick move his stuff on Saturday. It was creepy. She was so detached and removed, we could have been the plumbers for all she cared. Of course, we can't move someone without drinking beer. So we started at like 1pm.

Then, we took most of his stuff over to the Punk House and continued drinking there. Just a few though. Nick's freaking me out because he wants to get back to the punk house as soon as possible even though Misti and her evil sister are there. There's no goddamn room. I know I'm being selfish because it helps me having him around while I'm unemployed, but I still think it's premature. I understand it's psychological for him because the punk house was home for 12 years. I just don't want to be selfish about it.

We ended up watching a movie and then passing out. We were too tired to go to Susie Hutchinson's party, but there'll be others.

Sunday, we went to a pool party out at Hopes. It was good to see her and she told me to try again at Park Plaza for bartending work. Man, it was HOT. Desert hot. We had a really good time, though. BBQ. Leigh kicked my ass at ping pong. There were some attractive young ladies there, but they were either too self conscious to talk to the rest of us "oldies" or they were just too repulsed and or lame. When I was younger, I always hung out with people older than me, but I am the youngest in my family, so I'm used to it.

Yesterday, I met up with Andrew at his parent's house is S. Pasadena for another party. We BBQ'd again and mainly just sat around and talked. It felt so good to ride my motorcycle again that on the way home I took a detour and went by Echo Park. Then, I went around the Silverlake reservoir and through Griffith Park. It was nice and cool, and it smelled like earth & trees. I don't want to leave here. I have to find work.

I applied for a few jobs this morning. I was surprised to find three ads. I even contacted a couple places about motorcycle messenger jobs. I've only got a few weeks to figure something out.

I've got to get my mother's birthday present off today. Have to think of something cool and affordable. I already got her some stuff, but there should be something else as well.

Other than that, I think I might want to ride my trainer for a few minutes to try and burn off some of the alcohol floating around in my system.

I just want to wake up next to her....

I love Audrey Tatou. I never saw Dirty Little Pretty Things, but I still want to. I'm sure I could Netflix it.

The Punk House is a house right in front of Dodger Stadium that has been inhabited by a number of old punkers since the late `80's. Many a drunken fiestas & fiascoes have taken place there. Some of them we can still remember. Nick lived there for about 15 years before he got married and his wife done f'd him. Now, he gets to move back in. Just not his old room.

Good news. I actually have an interview on Monday. It's for working in the machine room making dubs for the Milken Family Foundation, a non-profit supporting the furtherment of education and medicine. Unfortunately, it's a temp job of indefinite length, but it's worth a shot. Right?

Thanks for the support, sister.Who knows? Maybe this will turn into the perfect job for going back to school?
