I'm finally updating my rig up to OSX but it is taking FOREVER! So, i'm messing around on Nikki's computer.
Today has been pretty uneventful. Bought my book online for my psych class and saved about $20. Let's just hope it shows up before class next Thursday.
I spent most of the day reorganizing the studio to make room for Nick's stay. I got his computer set up so he can work. I put it on the anthro cart next to the Proi Tools rig. We can always move shit to make room for the other one. Besides, it won't really be an issue for at least two weeks when Carter gets back.
The rest of the day I spent going through boxes of old shit I packed up when I started painting. I consolidated a bunch and now there's a lot more space. Things to keep the non-working man occupited. Don't get me wrong, I looked for work today. There just wasn't shit. I did see one ad for a Pro Tools editor online. Once my computer upgrade is done I'll send in my resume.
Just got back from the happiest place on earth: The $.99 store! Man, they got fresh baked goods an' live plants now. A man can live good at the $.99 store. My legs is tired from all the running around.
Well. Nikki's home now, so I guess it's time to figure out whassup for dinner and what movie we're gonna watch.

i never buy my text books online. b/c i'm sick. i love the feeling of buying TONS of books all at once and carrying them home. buying books for class is just a good excuse to spend a lot of money on books. it's really troubling.
anyway. no you're right - i prolly over-analyed the whole fan fanaticism. but it just really stuck in my head the other nite, so i started to analye. that's what obnoxious academics do.
post cards is a good collectible actually. my wife has a thing for matchbooks and key chains - for similar sorts of reasons: just a reminder of where she's been or a symbol of places she'd like to go.
