We played a really fun show at the Scene last night. We killed our set. I kind of wish I brought the DAT to record it now. When we pulled up, there was a recently deceased coyote in the gutter. Poor guy. One of the other bands from Sta. Cruz was really cool, El Sonido. We lent them the drummer's fan & swapped CDs with them. They had their own home-made speaker cabinets which were really cool. They were like a mix between Sonic Youth and classic psychedelic bands. Some people from work showed up, which was cool, but it always seems to be awkward. I'll find out what they really thought next week I guess.

Afterwards, we went on a beer run and then to a friend's house to shoot pool. Then we had to unload everything. I got home at 4 and slept until 1. Unfortunately, the girly I'm interested in showed up with a date. He was nice, but kind of a dim skater dude. If that's what she's into, I'm better off moving on. But who knows, she might come around. We can be good friends at least. She shoots pool and we might make arrangements for her to place some of our music.

It's cold & drizzly. I think I'm going to make a trip to the dispensary to get some cookies. I'm hopping a ride with Project K to go their show in Sierra at the Buccaneer tonight. Money's tight and I'm trying to save up for a major service on my motorbike.

I'm going to set up stores on Myspace this weekend. I'm into the idea of being able to sell music without having to produce a disc.
