Shopping is pretty much over. I gave cards to all my bosses today. I donated to Habitat For Humanity in their names. Much better than struggling to think of cool gifts.

I got my upright bass!

It sounds SOOOOO good. I haven't had a bass in good working order for years.

I already did a recording and it's perfect. I'm going to have the old one repaired and donated to the Silverlake Conservatory. I'm looking forward to playing out and getting back in circulation.

Three more days and I head home for a week. Unfortunately, I won't have any old friends to visit, but I can concentrate on my parents and my sis. I have one friend who said they'd meet me in Vegas. It's going to be cold! I have to get some vicodin for the flight!

I've had to watch Miracle on 34th Street six times in two weeks. The part that always gets me is when he speaks Dutch to the orphaned holocaust survivor girl with her teeth missing. But I hate it when I cry at work! The freaky part is seeing Natalie Wood. Also, she's such a spoiled brat!

I had my tube preamp pedal for my guitar repaired. It sounds killer and it has a headphone out. It's really cool to be able to come home from work at 2am and rock out without pissing anybody off.
