Winter is finally here. The bungalow is chilly regardless of time of day. The floor heater is utilized, but the draft is substantial. Time to bust out the bathrobe and the ski cap.
Got a date to the work christmas party. Just need to figure out transportation. It's at the Beverly Hilton this year and I really don't want to roll up in my `78 Econoline van. We might go in on a limo if we can get enough people. The good thing is my date and I will have fun even if the event is lame.
I'm waiting for my next check to finish off my shopping. I got an early start this year for once. I think it's because it's the first time in years I actually have something to work with in terms of cashola. Instead of trying to think of gifts for people at work, I'm simply going to make donations to Habitat for Humanity in their names. $500 billion for Iraq and the Gulf coast is still a trash heap.
I'm trying to get back into working out. I need the endorphines. I tend to get a little blue this time of year. Plus, I've been drinking too much and sleeping too much, but not good sleep.
I sent off the money order for my new upright bass! I should be able to pick it up this weekend! I haven't had a working upright bass for 8 years. I'm hoping I can get the shop to donate the repairs on the old one and then donate the bass to the Silverlake Conservatory. I don't know if they'll go for it, but I'd like some kid to get the old one to have something to get started on.
I had to watch a Ben Affleck movie at work last night.

I'm trying to get back into working out too. I'm not a thin guy, and have no aspirations to be. I must humbly submit that all I want to do is avoid terrible diseases. That's my sole motivations for sweating.
