Last weekend, we played a birthday party in Highland Park. It was a good time. They had all kinds of multimedia and it was in the Space gallery at ave 58 & Fig.
We don't have any more shows until Tues 6/6/06, that's right, judgement day. Couldn't turn it down. If the four horsemen show up, I want to be rocking with my pals.
American Idol is finally over. That means I don't have to stay until 1am on Tues & Wed. anymore. Find it hard to believe that prick won, but I don't really care. I think it's rigged.
Training is going well. Operations agreed to have the kid I'm training take my place. I'm looking forward to moving into my new position and using my brain and skill set.
Got my tax return and had to invest in some gear. I now have mics for my portable DAT. This way I can record rehearsals and shows fairly easily. I also had to buy a new power amp since Carter had to get his stuff out of here. At least I'm up and running
again.
Less than a month to go w/ my Bio class. I'm learning a lot and am enjoying it, but I'm also looking forward to easing off things a bit for summer.
I'm trying to simpify my life by slowly ditching the crazy people. I've realized I could better spend my time on other things which will be more rewarding. Without going into details, there are a couple people and I'm tired of having to talk them down because they jump to conclusions, etc. It might sound isolationistic, but I think of it more as a refining process.
