I rocked my test. The last two essay questions were a little tricky, but I think I stumbled my way through them. I should have paid more attention to the questions he gave us in advance.
My lab section is fun. The teacher is totally cool. My lab partners are like 18 & 19. It's fun because we get to tinker, but I also get to see how I was 17 years ago with the advantage of everything I know now. Sometimes my lab partners ask me a question and when I tell them, they get ths deer in the headlights look, which makes me laugh.
Saturday night, I hung out with my friend Amanda, We stayed up until 4 drinking Absinthe. Neither one of us cared much for the licorice taste, but the narcotic effect is fun. Amanda's car caught on fire the other night about 3 or 4 hours after she drove it. Her neighbor called and said, "hey, your car's on fire". The front bumper and the windshield melted. The insurance company is being cool about it and is going to write the thing off. The timing is just bad since she just quit her job. I ended up taking a cab home.
Rehearsal went well on Sunday. Foster showed up. My amp worked. It sounds great with the new tube preamp. The new material is coming together. We have a party to play on 4/15 and I'm going to start trying to book stuff this week.
After practice, I met with my friend, Marcel. We talked about the possibility of him designing some characters for a potential animation video. I'm not sure if it's really going to happen, but I'm going to pursue it to try and make it a reality.
I snuck in a quick bike ride before it got totally dark. It was nice. I adjusted the fit of my handlebars a bit and it's much more comfortable. I was going to go to the gym today, but I'm so out of shape that I'm sore from the ride yesterday. I guess I'm going to have to ease back into my exercise schedule.
Now I have to get some reading done before going to work.

man, it's 28 degrees right now and supposed to *snow.* generally, i don't mind the weather or the midwest ... but it's march 20th, and spring is nowhere in sight. what a drag.
