seeing that im all bummed out

i made two purchases.
to make myself feel a bit better
and if not
at least pretend

right ladies?
this is the way of the north american lifestyle
where consuming has become the new therapy.
the new lifestyle

get your bling bling on and rock out
like you dont give a fuck

but deep down you kinda do
and if you find yourself that you dont
you've been jaded by this lifestyle
hallowed out
with no real emotion
just spend spend spend...

i love how we can buy something to make ourselves feel better...
what the fuck has the world come to?
or more so...
what have evolved into??

north americans spend 130% of their earnings a year.
whats wrong with that.
hmmmmmmmmmmmm
could it be that we spend thirty percent more of what we even make....

Yes. I think indulgence is good as a reward for being a good person. Life is hard enough, you have to enjoy.
However, you are correct, society indulges itself for nothing, then rewards itself with a reward for over indulgence.
Just look at the cars. I need a full-size truck for work and most people have cars bigger than me, with videos on every seat. surreal
