I need to find a chiropractor in Christchurch (or chemist that doesn't ask a lot of questions) and have 24 hour layover in LA and have to play tour guide. I booked a hotel close enough to the beaches, but what the hell do you do aside from maybe running up to Hollywood/Universal Studios? Of course we'll probably just pass out and not do anything.

Seriously, have you ever been so thoroughly discouraged you find yourself looking at real estate in another city...in another country...on another continent just to get the hell away from the nonsense. Not sure what it would take to uproot my whole family and go, but it seems pretty reasonable right now. Barcelona seems like a really great option...

What a Monday this is turning out to be. Get home and realize my back tire has a slow leak--nail or something shiny.
