Seven days in..... I'm still tired from the celebrations last weekend. I don't know if it's just from the party goings on, planning and such, or if it's because I took the Zicam to get rid of a cold, and maybe it didn't go completely away. oh well.
The party was a HUGE success. The ball drop worked and all of the home made decorations were neato bandito. And, not for nothing but the hostesses (four girls) didn't fight, there was a bit of moaning amongst us, but it wasn't too bad. Party Pictures
So resolutions for 2007...
1. Again with the healthy lifestyle change... I do need to lose a few pounds, if only for my ankle's sake. It's a bit swollen from the extra baggage I carry around
2. Learn Vietnamese. Michael bought me the software from Rosetta stone, but I haven't mastered it yet. It's been 6 months
3. Take the PHR test and pass it. I have to sign up in a couple of months, it $300, so I don't want to fail it.
4. Learn to crochet, I just got the Happy Hooker book from my secret santa
So I have to learn to do it.
5. Be a better knitter, that's all, I've learned the basics, so now I have to actually force myself to swatch and make a sweater
6. Paint or do some sort of something to my home, I'm tired of the bear walls... BORING
7. Be nicer to Michael... I should move that to number 2, because if I am successful with number 1 I won't be so internally angry.... Thus being nicer to him.
8. Close on my mom's house, it was suppose to be done on the 2nd but the title company didn't have the ducks lined in a row, even though they had 3 weeks. Who knew buying a house was so FRUSTRATING
9. Pay off my credit card with the extra money from the house...and not get into credit card debt again.
10. Be a nicer person all the way around. I have to stop complaining. I know I could complain more but I want to complain less.
That's it for now. It's resolutions mixed with goals.
