I upset my mom a couple of days ago. She has been going back and forth between running a gas station in the middle of nowhere mississippi and going back to the new orleans area. I want to go visit her and gen but she can't decide or even maintain a thought for one day. So I haven't purchased a ticket and I know that I have to make a choice or just wait until next year. But I do miss her and my other friends and family.

So that brings me to why I was upset. I want her to settle where she is going to be so i can decide what I am going to do. I know that I am still young and people do move a lot in life, but I want to start to settle down in the sense of buying a house and establishing my roots while still seeing the world. Michael is no help because he doesn't even seem to have a draw anywhere except to, well you have to live somewhere you can make money... we can make decent money in South Florida but the cost of living is nuts. We are certainly lucky to be living on the intercoastal for next to beans and rice but that doens't mean we can buy a house here anyt time soon.

I have to call my mom soon to applogize.
