Pictures of death dance in my mind

Light posts, ditches, on coming traffic
Then I see all those I would leave behind
Those who love me and those I can not have again
And I stop myself but the desire still remains
I just want to jump from the tower
Fall half way down silent and have a power greater than my own catch me
And put me back on top and set me on my feet again
I scream
Could you handle my grief
Could you handle my pain
Could you bear the weight of my anger on your shoulders
Could you embrace my hate and manipulate it like I can
Could you ignore the souls I have consumed clawing and screaming inside of you
I think not
For I am the strong one, the silent one
I am the one everyone loves
I am the one who resolves your issues
If not for me who would you rely on
I am the Dragon I am the mighty I am the solder I am one who bears your pain
