So, to keep everyone updated.
My actual birthday was alright, kinda tame, didn't do too much all day. I woke up semi-early, got a massage, got coffee, went out with my sister for most of the day shopping, went to dinner with my parents, then later on went to Mc Near's for drinks (it's not a bar, it's a restaurant that shuts down half the place and "turns into a bar" for the night, lame). However, last night, I went out to a real bar, Gayle's, and had drinks with rotating friends. First it was my sister, then she left when my friend David showed up, when when my other friend Dave showed up, David left. I spent the rest of the night laughing with Dave and having a blast. It's nice being able to have drinks with people who are pretty much family. I just hope someday Dave can find a nice girl, he's a good guy at heart, he's just a super nerd.
Tonight is girl's night. I'm going to my friend Ashley's BBQ at her house for a bit, then coming back to town, going out to dinner with my friends Kayla and Cyndi, then out for drinks with Kayla at Gayle's. So much for partying in the city, but I didn't actually realize that today was Cinco De Mayo until YESTERDAY because I'm that retarded. Oh well, we'll have fun anyway. Kayla and I can't go out and NOT have fun. She'll try to get my tanked so she can con me into going to this lame country and western bar/club down the street that I WILL NEVER GO TO. Now heading over to the pub down the way sounds like a much better plan!
I bought myself some birthday presents, but new piercings are always fun to shop for. I got one pack of lip rings and one pack of studs on my birthday. Then yesterday I ordered three new barbells for my lip and three new pairs of plugs for my ears. I'M SO EXCITED FOR THEM TO COME!!! I'm getting Picaso Jasper plugs, Green Aventurine plugs, and one pair of white acrylic star punch plugs. Next time though, I'm getting the olive wood and blood wood plugs.
