First of all, you are gorgeous, your hair and eyes are amazing. I don't know, I just can't believe anyone would say that to you. And you've got brains.
I'm too shocked by this whole thing, and yes It'll take a while to get over it.
I wouldn't worry about stuff like that in modeling. There are people whose whole job are to make you feel inferior. That is all they do. they don't mean it that way but alot of times models seem to get treated like furniture. Keep your head up.
