Best. Weekend. EVAR!
I definitely had a good time. First off, I took the day off Friday and after working my second job I went to a friend's birthday party. Super chill, good people, good food and good convo.
Then on Saturday I woke up and walked around Lake Merritt before heading home. That night (after working again) I went to the People's Party at the New Parrish in downtown Oakland. It was one of those "I hella love Oakland" moments. I danced all over the place until I was sweaty and salty (in a great way!).
After a few hours sleep, I was back up and out having Easter brunch. Then I went to my friend's house AGAIN for an end of the weekend kava ceremony. Super mellow, hanging in the backyard and jamming. It was one of those weekends that never makes me want to go to work, and makes me so happy I live in the Bay.
