Well I went to the Renaissance Fair yesterday. It was so much fun!!!
First dads g.f bought me this beautiful faery necklace.
Then we roamed around and saw all the great art they have there, cant wait to get my own house, I am going to come back to the fair to decorate.
Then we saw this hilarious skit by the Bold and Stupid Men, to hard to explain, you must see it. LOL
Then we saw another skit, called Testaclese. I am going to buy the DVD when I get the money. They had another skit called Romeo and Juliet version 2.0 that I missed but I think I saw it last time I was there, I want that DVD too.
Then we roamed some more, and stopped to get sets at the Knights Joust. Turns out we sat on the evil German black and white side! (I got some good pictures) Our Knight was the cutest one there. We were allied with the Italians (the Knight across from us) then there were 2 other knights the English and Dutch. It was funny when everyone had to say God Save The Queen our knight gave the olden day Fuck You. Cause the story goes he tried to kill her earlier. That was when we allied with Italy. And during the prayer our knight turned his horse around like "I turn my ass to you people". When it started everyone was on there horses, and they were ringing the rings, then they started going after each other. Everyone ended up on the ground (btw the English Knight was injured earlier in the day, and he was acting injured the whole show).
We were wining, but our knight turned on the Italy Knight and killed him, but then the English guy got up when our knight was going to stab him and our guy stabbed himself and then died with a final blow by the English Knight.
Then me and Tasha (my dads g.fs daughter) went and tried to look around for our Knight to get an autograph (cause we bought flags and they sign them later). So we finally found them after looking at all the shops. I asked if he could give me his autograph and the lady he was with went to get a pen from her shop. So he asked my name and if I enjoyed the show and kissed my hand. HEHE, Nicks got competition (just kidding). Dad took a picture with me and the Knight, Sir Morick. I had to drag Tasha over there to get an autograph, she is so shy.
I got a bunch of pictures of costumes, so I can look at them later to make some.
When we where leaving there was this guy with this knight costume and I wanted a pic, so he posed.... then my dad wanted one with both of us... One bad thing about the Renaissance Fair old guys in costume (or out) are purves! lol!
I got good pics and will post them when I get home.
