Well today has been HELL!!! Got a call at 7:30 am saying the computers were down. Happens all the time.... I didn't think anything of it. I came in at 8:30 am to find that the server had... what it looked liked... crashed.
Called my computer guy.... two hours later he shows up (nothing against him, he had to rearrange his schedule for us). Anyway, it is not as bad as it looks, the power source. No problem he switched it out and got it running. First problem solved.
Then we go to look and see if the auto backup was done... nope, that program is not working and has not been working for a month... no one told me this... they were just letting me think the backups were being made.
So, he fixed it.. now I am in charge of the backups.
That was just part of the day. Employee issues all day, other computer problems with the billing program we use. I have had it.... I think I need a drink.
And now my ride will be late. I guess it gives me time to play on the internet... since I am alone. I hope my weekend is better than my Friday.
