thanks for the advice. i did end up doing it on heart of darkness.
i wrote my paper about the contradictions of marlow as a narrator and in his relationship to Kurtz, and how this presents a problem to the reader in trying to find a conclusive meaning in the story... i just emailed it to my prof... now i'm done with college.
