Just spent four days on the relaxing and beautiful yet expensive Block Island. My best friend's younger brother who I thoroughly help corrupt in his youth and introducing to the world of alcohol beyond 40oz got married to his long time sweetheart. It was a very nice and simple wedding in the yard of a family friend's house. Drove up with the missus to New London CT and took the express ferry.
If every anyone is heading up there, I recommend the Adrianna inn. Quaint and a block off the main strip so its quiet enough and close enough. They offer some sort of breakfast each morning but also wine and nibbles in the evening. Plenty of rocking chairs on the porch to hang out on as well and watch the rabbits play in the yard.
