OK its been a bit since I actually sat in front of the PC. After the show Thursday, I went out for dinner and drinks Friday and anticipated watching the Yankee game which in turn was rained out. Caught up on some coziness that night so it was nice and relaxing.

Saturday I went with friends and couples to an orchard to pick some apples and pumpkins since its one of my favorite times of year. Caught a pic or two of a beautiful hawk that was circling overhead. I narrowly missed getting shat on by a divebombing goose while 2 other people got hit with the shrapnel as it bounced off the table. Fortunately I had already finished eating one of my desert favorites - pumpkin pie.

On the way back I saw a sign for Philadelphia and instantly made a detour and mad dash for Jim's steaks on South Street and dragged my friend Alan along since I was driving. He had never had the great taste sensation that is a genuine Philly Cheesesteak, and he certainly wasn't disappointed. The line was out the door of the place but we got a table right away and the food as always was great.

Took the wrong street out of Philly and didn't get over the bridge I wanted so we ended up on a miserable silly trek through NJ to get home. We knew where we were, just not how to get to the roads we wanted to get home quickly so we circled a few times and eventually made it back from being "lost". Stupid Rte 1 and 95 in NJ suck!!

So we got back a couple of hours later than intended and I missed the dinner at Whosyourlibra and now I have a sore throat too while stuck back at work...

Found out from me mum that my pops got canned at his job on friday. Really sucks since they just spent all this money on a trip to Mexico 2 weeks ago.
