Despite the threats of rain I hopped in the car Thursday afternoon and headed North to find my destiny on a blackjack table at Mohegan Sun. After almost 3 hours I managed to walk away even which counts as a win in my book. If you ever have a chance to - eat at Bubba's!
Kid Rock was playing the arena, and it was amazing the amount of white trash wandering around this huge casino complex.
I also had this hankering for some good Northeast lobster so I continued North to Cape Cod on Friday. The weather kept me from taking a boat ride and getting in some fishing, but I got to suffer a 9th inning blowout as the Red Sux came back to take game 1 of the series against the Yankees. I hung out in Hyannis and got my lobster and chowder fix taken care of.
