My best friend since high school has decided to move his family (wife and baby daughter) across the country to Tacoma, Washington. While my last memories of Washington were of a hospital and my uncle's suicide attempt, it is a beautiful but damp state.

Last night he and his brother and I went out for sushi after work and drinks and pool and drinks and drinks and drinks. After 3-4 bars, me falling into a wall rack, wanting more food but not grabbing any, we hopped into a cab to Park Slope. I took up an offer to sleep over with little Alex and rolled up to her place at 3am.

While we are going very very slow as neither of us wants to jump into anything at all and I have reservations about her because she reminds me of age old ghosts, she just plain enjoys sleeping in my arms and putting up with my snoring (she says) (she snores too!)

Its friday and I am hungover and not planning on doing much work at all. I happily licked nipples and would have liked to have stayed in bed quite a bit longer.

Last night I successfully stayed the course and didn't give in to an early invitation to go elsewhere for dinner with a certain somebody. I do however have to suffer the day with red cue chalk on my white shirt I had to wear from yesterday...
