Amy had her stitches taken out last night, which didnt hurt her just like I had promised. She didnt really believe me when I told her because of the kin specialist telling her that the stitches wouldnt hurt, cant blame her for being a bit scared really can you.
She will have a scar from her wrist to the centre of her palm but I dont think it will be too bad. So shes well on the road to recovery and she cant get out of doing the washing up now.
In other news we think one of our cats has a kidney infection, she has gone off her food and has become really thin. We did think it was just her loosing her winter coat but when she kept slimming down we began to worry. Loubie took her to the i.e. for a professional opinion and said her temperature was 104 which is very high for a cat. They gave her some anti-biotics and a shot to increase her appetite so she has perked up a little. Loubie is taking her back in today for blood tests, Im praying that the cat will be ok Loubie has had her from birth and she is 13 now, so if the worst happens Loubie will be devastated and I hate so she her that way especially when I can do nothing to change the situation.
We are going out with my work colleagues tomorrow night to a Chinese restaurant and Karaoke Bar. Loubie wont sing, I dont think there is enough beer in the world to get her drunk enough to do that. I on the other hand will. Ive got an OK voice and do mostly backing vocals but I cant sing really. I will end up drunk and will probably embarrass myself in front of my fairly new (Ive only been here 6 weeks) workmates doing very poor country & western (I grew up listening to Glen Campbell & John Denver in the back of my Dads old Triumph Dolomite). Thats if previous Karaoke nights are any indication but Its all a good laugh and Ive always been a total extrovert. The main problem here is that the Karaoke Bar is opposite The Hatchet which is where I usually drink with my alternative/rock buddies and I am guaranteed to be seen! So Im wearing my SG t-shirt so I wont look too much like a chav. I would drag Loubie in there after the Karaoke but we dont share the same taste in music at all. She totally hates about 90% of the bands I love, If you even mention Iron Maiden shes liable to throw a fit, just joking, but she hates them with a passion.
I have decided that Im going to Mantra Tattoo Festival at Cheltenham Race Course on 8th 10th July again this year and Loubie is coming too, she is not as into Tattoos n Piercing as I am but I have managed to talk her into having two tattoos she has a Celtic wrist band and an excellent chaotic type of sun on her shoulder. I think that some of the displays at Mantra may be a bit much for her but Im really glad she is coming. Theos piercing shop has a stand there I may even pay to make holes in me.
Well that all the news form Jamieville for this week, join us next time when we will be asking the question why exactly was the bloody Milka cow lilac?
Ciao

I'm hoping they get a good price on eBay as they've only been worn twice, and come with a brand new tub of wax and spare laces. Ideal for a girlie as they're black and purple
I'm glad Amy is ok, the scar will lessen as she gets older and bigger
Love and kisses
