Last nights Burlesque was the best yet !
Nic, Tsui & Disco were fantastic.
Tramatron was brilliantly funny as ever and coped well with the Elvis Costello lookalike heckler.
Myself, my brother and Maiden_Maniac invited ourselves back to Duke_Thagoras's place and we all sat around till 3 ish chatting it was great. The conversation was a very eclectic mix but I can't really remember anything specific.
I wanted to thank everone present for a great time and also for being cool about my brothers situation (unlike the fucking taxi drivers of this city). So a big thanks to you all for everything.

So all in all a great night, shame that next months isn't an SG burlesque night, so I think i'll give it a miss.

Bill Maher, one of our late night TV hosts, usually has some cogent comments, but the other night he jerked my chain. Sometimes he tries to be cute, and that night he picked on adults dressing in costuem for Halloween.
"Halloween was created for kids for (bleep) sake," he asserted with a smirk. Where did he get that from? Throughout history Halloween has been celebrated by people of all ages. It's wonderful to see people having fun. His attempt at humor fell flat on its nose this time!
