I recently went to a place where they do pet therapy with donkeys and where, in addition, it is possible to book a walk with them (only on a lead rope). I didn't know exactly what the route would be like, but I imagined it would be a simple walk in the countryside and near the lake, but instead the guide took us through the woods on the hills, which means a lot of climbs and so fatigue if like me you are not used to it π« Plus it was also hot π₯΅
At a certain point we also climbed to a panoramic point with a view on Lake Como and then we continued downhill until we were along the lake. It was tiring but it was worth it!
In the end we returned to the farm and we cuddled and brushed the donkeys, they were very cute and cuddly π₯° But they can also be very stubborn! At the beginning of the walk my donkey stopped in a spot and for a few minutes he didn't want to move and I feared that the experience would end there. Then luckily, after several attempts, the guide tied him to another donkey and he finally moved and after that there were no more major hitches along the way π₯³
