Hello beautiful people, I hope you are all safe in this dramatic situation we are living! Today I wanted to share with you some perplexities I have about SG, and I really would like to know what you guys think about it!
I noticed that a hopeful set from 2016 was selected as SOTD, which of course is a great news for the girl, but I was thinking: is this "morally" correct? Is it "respectful" towards the girls and their feelings? I mean, for how long should a girl be hoping to become an official SG? In my personal opinion I think that there should be more precise rules, like giving a maximum time limit beyond which you can officially lose hope for that specific set.
Moreover, it's really not clear how they choose a set to become SOTD. There are sets with more than 2000 likes (sometimes even a lot more) and in some cases there are girls that have several of them and they are also active on the site but still nothing. While other times some sets don't get that many likes but get selected as SOTD. Also in this case I think there should be some clearer rules.
And I also have some doubts about the model guide, in which it is written not to wear wigs, not to do spread shots and not to use:
-Stuffed animals, dolls, school girls, nursery rhymes, or anything else childish
-Paint, dirt, candle wax, food, or anything else messy, drippy, oozy, smeared, etc.
-Swords, knives, or most other weapons
Like... seriously?! I think you have all seen at least one of these things in some sets! I understand that this guide may be old and rules might have changed, but in this case I think that they should update the model guide.
