Even today at my age of 21 I struggle with talking openly about my sexuality. We shouldn't care what people think of us, but the words of judgmental people can still hurt. I remember having a conversation with my folks on what they thought of bi curious people or gay people in general. They weren't really against it but they called it a defect. That hurt my feelings so much because I think I'm bi and hearing that from them just completely shut me down to ever talk about it again. Except for on the internet of course lol ehh idk maybe one day I won't care and just let my sexuality flow without the worries of being labeled.
