so earlier today my journal entry said a buddy of mine said once that "life is a shit sandwich, either eat it or starve." he JUST moved to portland or. and is setting up a new machine shop. two hs. after my entry he calls me and told me he got robbed at his new shop last night and lost about ten grand in hand tools and didn't have his insurance yet. how fucked is that. now his shit sandwich remark really rings true. i wish now i hadn't made that entry with him in mind, now i feel rotten. maybe my shit sandwich seems a little smaller now.
