-so i got some pretty useless gifts. i favorite of these has to be the stuffed penguin. why in the hell did i get a stuffed penguin for christmas? i mean i like penguins, they rule, but... thanks, mom. pretty silly. i'll give him a name and he shall rest on my desk in san diego. when i get such a gift, i just kinda think ookaaay. it makes me feel like i'm on a blind date and i have nothing to say and it gets awkward. "so . . . you like ... stuff?"
