7AM eastern time...and I'm awake. I don't have a reason to be, seeing how I have no job, no doctor's appointments, and really nothing to do. I do have to say though, sometimes it is rather awesome to watch the sun come up when you're sober.
Anyways, I've been thinking a lot about school lately. I dropped out of high school at 16, mainly due to the fact that I just didn't fit in, and the work was bullshit. I got bored with schoolwork so I refused to do it. I went to school every day wearing a mixture of work boots, Abercrombie, band shirts, baseball hat, and huge wallet chain. The preppy kids looked down on me for wearing clothes that cost less than $60, the metalheads looked down on me for wearing Abercrombie, stoners thought I was stupid because a 1/4 would last me a few weeks, and I was always stuck in the friend zone with every single female in the school. I had maybe 2 good friends the entire time I was in middle school and high school, and it's just kind of hard to deal with school when you're 15, got nobody you can really open up to, and nobody really gives a fuck about you.
Now I think the situation is a bit different. I'm older, somewhat more mature, and I finally want to make something of myself. Granted, getting into college in general is a bit hard when you have a GED and shit credit (I can't even get financed for a pack of gum due to mismanagement of funds while I was homeless), but I think I have a halfway decent shot at getting into the community college here. The hardest part is deciding exactly what path I want to take though. I mean I'll probably start with a Liberal Arts major, get my English and Math out of the way and whatnot, but after that what the hell do I do? I kind of want to go for some sort of degree in healthcare (Nursing, EMT-P, etc), or something more mechanical (airframe maintainance, etc), but I'm just not sure.
If anyone reads this, comment and give me some ideas!

Going to have to put some serious thought into this, and come up with a new design too
